コンセプト

有名な写真家の息子である私が、幼い頃からカメラを手にするのは当然のことでした。また、父が世界的な芸術作品を撮影していたこともあり、自宅には父の作品が掲載された画集が100冊以上あり、早くから巨匠に触れることができました。私はもともと理系の才能があり、芸術の道に進むつもりはありませんでした。しかし、勉強しているうちに、写真に魅せられたことがきっかけで、理系を離れて写真の道に進みました。現実の瞬間を完璧に撮影するのではなく、その瞬間の内面、主観的なリアリティを投影することに興味があったのです......。それを表現するために、ほとんど多重露光の写真ばかりを撮るようになりました。この時期から90年代半ばまで、多重露光の作品ばかりを作り続けましたが、金融営業のキャリアを追求するため、芸術的な努力はしばらく封印していました。2000年代初頭、金融営業でキャリアを積んだ後、私は写真に戻りました。しかし、時間というレンズを通して、私は単焦点写真だけを作ることにしました。私の写真作品は抽象的で非具象的なものが多いので、"それは何の写真ですか？"とよく聞かれます。なぜなら、作品そのものが、見る人に特定の感覚や感情、思考を伝えるべきであると思うからです、私は、自然界の物質（特に水）と人工の物質（主にガラスや金属、時には磨かれた石やその他の曲面や波紋のある反射面）の両方からの反射面や反射全般をよく扱いますが、これらの反射の中には、これらの反射を生み出している物質や物体とは通常結びつかないような現実世界のものを思い出させる幻想的な形がしばしば見られます。もちろんこれは主観的なもので、見る人が私の作品を見ているときに、その人の特定の精神状態にとってより重要な他のものを思い出すことを期待している。もし、私が見ているものが偶然そこに見えたとしても、それは私にとって好都合な偶然であって、必要な偶然ではない。また、私は自然の純粋な美しさに畏敬の念を抱いているので、風景写真や海景写真も多く手がけています。しかし、その「自然」の見え方について、さまざまな可能性を提示することに興味があるのです。それは、自然を "改良 "するのではなく、自然の全体像に新たな視点を加えることです。例えば、同じ山の景色を天候や光の条件によって何枚も撮影することがありますが、そのどれもが「より正確に」「より良く」ではなく、その山がどのようなものであるかの追加の側面を示すだけであり、しばしば、私が想像したような側面も示すことになります。この写真を見て、山の景色をより深く理解していただければ幸いです。
