ラナ・ヴェレシュチャギナは、ロシア出身の抽象芸術家です。彼女はプロのアーティストではありません。彼女は子供の頃からいつも絵を描いていました。彼女は手元にあるもの、出くわしたものすべてを使って絵を描きました。ラナは子供の美術学校を卒業しました。その後、彼女は自分自身で勉強し、試し、訓練し、実験した。彼女の作品は常に創造性-服の制作やインテリアデザイン-と結びついている。服のモデル、家のテキスタイル、インテリア、そのデザインの個々の要素、布地や家具を描きました。自由な時間には、ラナは自分自身のために、魂のために絵を描き続けました。彼女は様々なテクニックとスタイルで自分自身を試してみました。 COVID-19による強制的な隔離は、彼女が創造性をより真剣に受け止めるのに役立った（it helped）。"なぜ、コミュニケーションなしに悲しみ、苦しむのでしょうか？どんな状況でも、ポジティブなことを探さなければならないのですずっとやりたかったことができる、でも時間が足りなかった "と自分に言い聞かせるように言った。ラナは絵の具を手に取り、自分の感情、印象、感覚をキャンバスに移し始めた。ラナは新しいテクニックや素材を研究し、それらを組み合わせるようになりました。「インスピレーションは、全く異なる瞬間からやってきます。晴れた日の良い気分、個人的なアーカイブからの写真、読んだ本からの印象、そして単なる想像力などです。- とアーティスト本人は言います。「私は素材や技法、道具を試すのが好きです。その結果は、いつも予想外で興味深いものです。それはエキサイティングで、毎回楽しい驚きがあります。私の作品は、内面世界の反映であり、見る人との対話であり、良い感情を共有するための試みです。

1990 - 2010年服飾モデル、ホームテキスタイル、インテリアとそのデザインの個々の要素、ファブリック、家具を描いた。
2020年12月絵の具を手に取り、自分の感情、印象、感覚をキャンバスに移し始める。
