Nami was born in 1990 in okinawa, Japan.
She used to imitate her favorite anime and comic which is her hobby during her childhood and this hobby become the base of her art style. Moreover, as a resident in Okinawa, she wanted to get something that could be a symbol of her work from the nature and traditions of Okinawa. Among them, I was attracted to the shape of the flowers drawn in Bingata (Okinawan traditional resist-dyed cloth) and began to incorporate them into my work.
Instead of expressing my assertions and feelings, she wants to draw a world where the images and imagination spread when people see her artwork. This style makes her comfortable which is the reason why she chose this method.
Sono stato attratto dai messaggi che ogni opera ha. Personalmente mi concentro sull'empatia per la visione e il messaggio dalle basi quotidiane, quindi è stato bello sentirlo.
