Shin Ogura expresses his thought and feeling by using his character 'KONETA' which is his alter ego. He wants to create something that makes these characters feel like they are here, owning this character as a thing/artwork. He hopes that everyone can have such a relaxing moment in life, just like his character gives to the viewers. Regarding transparent expressions, he has been dealing with transparent materials that allow the impossible to possible such as "stopping time," "float things," and "see inside", which he feels that its one of the interesting features of this material. Also, Shin would like to be able to express the interest of the contrast between linear highlights of inorganic substances and curvilinear shading of organic substances in his work.
