Atsuro Terunuma has been consistently presenting works relating to sight and what is visible/invisible in a variety of media, including drawings, paintings, animations, mapping, and three-dimensional works. This is due to the bad eyesight that Terunuma has. He believes that art has a hope to see the world which is 'Mieteru Nozomu' and another part where the severe reality of society is too visible which is 'Mienai Nozomu'. The social satire and the world view of his work reflect the influence of the 16th-century Flemish art, such as Bruegel and Boss, which Terunuma loves. In his unique world of work, two characters looking at society from the opposite extreme, observing and satire the two perspectives. It progresses comically, but the words and gaze scattered around are sharp and sometimes expressed with poison.
Ich war von den Botschaften angezogen, die jedes Kunstwerk hat. Ich persönlich konzentriere mich auf das Einfühlungsvermögen für die Vision und die Botschaft der täglichen Basis, daher war es schön, das zu fühlen.
