Story:
Finally, we visited the Pyrénées Ariégeoises and stayed at a lodge near the town of Aínsa. The weather was overcast, and I wasn’t sure how the infrared film would behave in those conditions. While driving towards Cortalaviña, I found a narrow road with no place to park, but on a curve, I spotted a wider space that offered a clear view of the majestic Peña Montañesa mountain. I had to rush to set up the tripod and attach the infrared filter. The filter, which is a dark red, made the scene almost impossible to see. I composed the shot without it, took the light reading, then attached the filter and adjusted the exposure time to about 60 seconds. I was fortunate that no cars passed by during the shoot, allowing me to capture a few images.
