Concept

He wants to express the richness of life. I learned that he has a similar way of thinking about color to Robert Delaunay (1886~1941). He paints with an awareness of objects being there. Since he was a child, he wanted to bring joy to others. He is interested in Paul Klee. He paints with watercolor and oil on cardboard. He believes that when opposites collide, they create different energies. He is surprised to find that it also has something in common with Roberto Delaunay's principle of color. He believes that the ideal picture cannot be painted only with oil paints. He uses watercolors, which were treated as underpaints, and water-soluble oil paints, which were not available in his university days. In Japan, there are water-soluble oil paints and alkyd resin paints. Water-soluble pastels and colored pencils are also used. Some works are painted with acrylic paints and mixed materials such as paper, cloth, plastic, and foil. Watercolor paper Sirius can bring out the beauty of the margins of white paper.
