It is inconceivable to think of Orsola's life without the presence of drawing and painting.
"Gift of nature": for her this definition is perfect.
A gift that expresses itself in the desire to leave marks and colours on paper.
This passion has made her life better, always: enlivening its joys, relieving its pains.
Artistic studies and graphic profession, always cultivating her talent and exploring various painting techniques: oil, acrylic, tempera and watercolour. The latter was a fatal landing place, which allowed her to meet important masters, to be accepted as an associate artist by the Italian Watercolour Society (AIA) and to present her work in several national and international exhibitions.
Why does Orsola paint?
For an inner need, painting is her language.
She relives reality in her own way, often with the pleasure of losing herself in what she does.
There is little rationality in her work: instinctive is the choice of the subject, her painting and the same judgment on it.
He believes that a work is successful when he feels it is his, beyond the judgment of others or the response to predetermined aesthetic canons.
At the end of the creative act comes the need to share his work.
And so her painting, a means of communicating her feelings, goes in search of the emotions of others, seeking empathy and complicity of the viewer.
The creative process, so intimate and solitary for Orsola, now opens up to the need to belong to the whole of humanity.
The first public exhibitions of her works and the first important recognitions have now encouraged her to present her art to a wider audience.
In the watercolour technique she finds a ductility and a freedom allowed only by few other means.
Water creates unpredictable games, which she often interprets as an unexpected help to express the deepest and most unconscious part of herself.
But for her, painting technique is not the essence. It is only a dress, perhaps tailored for today...and tomorrow?
