Concept

My paintings are about understanding yourself through different female social roles. I'm like a child, a daughter, I'm like a mother, I'm like a wife. Comparison of my past experience as a child and the new experience of motherhood through images of my childhood and my son. The comparison is as it was then in the past and as it is now in the present. Working with memories and time. Time is a way to enjoy the moment and not worry about its transience.

I also use plein-air developments. Observing changes in nature and people not through a smartphone camera, but through the prism of my eyes. The subjects that inspire me are the simple reality that surrounds us, but embellished, exaggerated in color and in form. Bright, juicy fruits, floral images, village streets, abandoned houses, boats, broken roads, sunset and dawn, rain and scorching sun-these are the motifs for my works.

I prefer classic materials, such as oil and acrylic, tempera. At this stage, my work is characterized by cheerfulness, the triumph of a bright, smiling color, decorativeness and a certain flatness of the image.

In all this picturesque aesthetic, whether it is a rural landscape, a bouquet of flowers or a portrait of a child, I convey the beauty of the world and the transience of life. What people usually photograph, and then forget about it, I paint in oil on canvas and leave the picture in my memory for a long time. For me, there is no subject that cannot be depicted through beauty and love of life.

The abundance of information, constantly changing bright pictures in the modern world leads to the devaluation of real life and real moments that we live, but often do not notice for employment. In my works, I leave something that will help a person remember about real life. Looking at the works, you can dive into memories from childhood, stop in a moment and feel the here and now without fuss and hurry.
