This painting shows a surreal perspective, inspired by the natural environment of Fowler Bay in Australia, where the blue ocean hits the pearly white shores, overlooked by the many pelicans that thrive there. I used the mother-of-pearl powder, collected from those beaches, on the right side of the painting to enrich the surface of the sand, and to introduce an authentic and precious element.
