    Description

    The relationships between the drawn objects change according to the viewer and from time to time. What looks like a woman at first glance is just a god, a boy's imagination, a big light ... I always want to remind me more than just drawing by not drawing. The white part of the female-like object in this work also uses the canvas base consciously to give a glimpse into the world beyond the represented world. Then I realize that it was just a canvas, not a god. On the contrary, you may find something like God there.

    Concept

    My recent interest in painting is about the ""possibility of things that cannot be seen or understood."" I am exploring their paradoxical and infinite possibilities. I would like to express on my canvas a unique methodology based on Zen art, modern art, philosophy, modern thought, and scientific theory.
    I draw a person set in everyday life and try to create a work that leads to the endless imagination area of the viewer or to all the possible areas beyond imagination while staying in everyday life .

    As for artist activities, I have been exhibiting a large number of artists outside of Japan in Europe and the United States since 2019, and I intend to further expand our activities in the future. I am proud to be an artist who can be expected to be active in the future.

    Does this art work need a frame?

    In many cases, art works with a canvas stretched over a wooden frame can be displayed as is. Thin art works other than canvases are easier to frame. For any questions or concerns please chat us.

    What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

    • If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.
    • If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.
    • If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
