Description

I have a friend, Zhanna Lee, and she is a Certified Tantra Educator & Holistic Intimacy Coach. I attended her workshop MY BODY IS A TEMPLE; its main idea was to learn how to stay grounded and connected in a non-judgmental and heart-opening environment. During the workshop, a realization came to me that as an artist I can also help women, regardless of age, faith and body shapes, to develop and feel their inner strength and confidence. So I started my Sexual Art project. I chose silk painting for it, which is in my opinion the most refined and lively material, and flowers, as a symbol of female beauty and divine blessing.

Concept

The fall of 2019 has been one of the happiest and most fulfilling falls in my life. My art had an opportunity to travel across the ocean, and to be seen by the eyes of distinguished American viewers. “My Sweet Fall” series is about enjoying the change, as well as anticipating the transformation. Playful, full of colors and flavors, with an overtone of nostalgia, it’s like falling in love with someone new, and knowing your life is about to change.

Summer is over. It waved to us and went off somewhere to distant warm lands to sleep off and get ready for the next year. It was replaced by a poetic and philosophical autumn, majestic and mysterious, with all its leisurely dressing procedures, mood changes, bouquets of bright leaves, colds and melancholy. Autumn is a time of partings and new meetings, completions of the past, and crazy new beginnings!

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
