Although we may want to define ourselves with four words, we are all a cumulus of peculiarities that make us unique. Things that we like or dislike, that if we start to list them, they define us. We try to reduce all these nuances to the four that we consider most important, but what a shame to lose everything else, for that reason I decided to make paintings mixing things that seem disparate but that in the end define my tastes and peculiarities.
"My first pet" as the title says, represents the first pet I had, a parakeet, with whom I learnt many things. Besides, the parakeet, as a bird, for me, represents the interior of the houses (at least in Spain) and the home, as it is very typical to find these little birds as pets.
