    　KURUMI paints a wide variety of animals in distinctive and colorful ways.
    　KURUMI's characteristic is to depict "the joys, sorrows, and emotions of animals that are not often seen on the surface. He paints a world that is not bound by stereotypes, colorfully expressing the various emotions that the animals may be feeling.
    　Many animals do not change their facial expressions significantly. However, they surely have their own feelings of joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure. KURUMI arrived at her current style through trial and error, trying to find a way to express these emotions.
    　In her paintings, there are always a number of irregular lines drawn from the bottom to the top. KURUMI tries to express the power of life and the energy of the earth in this way.
