Description

The serie of "thousand leaves" is constantly evolving. The processs of accumulating forms and multiplying layers remains, but my research is currently focusing on the emergence of more lost forms with a random part.
This square composition gives a lot of force due to the strong saturated colours and balances around a suggered central line.

The edges are painted so that the canvas can be hung without framing. This is well suited to the motif that one easily imagines extending to infinity. Otherwise, it will fit perfectly into a show box. Do not hesitate to consult me.

Concept

I am inspired by plant elements and I build collections, accumulations, overlays. I like to play with colors, contrasts and repetitions. I like to play with shapes and spaces between shapes. I’m looking for a structure in this profusion. Every new creation is an attempt to bring order to the chaos of the world.

Painting is simple, it's easy. I'm not looking for anything. I don't think about it. It's here. It just comes by itself. It's obvious. It can't be said, it can't be looked for, it can only be painted.

I'm not doing anything extraordinary. I may not be making anything up, but I don't mind. Creation is a path, and in this path, I advance, I only advance.
