Here I present a faceless superman. It is actually a desire of every human being to become a superman someday to fulfill all their dreams. I made this superman for all of them so that they can imagine their face on the canvas.

The world we live in is made full of colors. Color is what creates beauty, energy. It evokes emotion,
it involves feelings. I have always been fascinated with color and forms. With these two elements
you have unlimited possibilities of creating art. My painting starts with emotion or feeling and mental state of that particular time.
Some of my paintings are impulse paintings where inner emotion takes over and guides my paint brush,
whereas others are journeys, my experiences that even surprise me too sometimes.

Concept

I am a visual artist.I have completed my M.F.A from Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan.Presently working in Delhi. My paintings are the images of the world - as seen by my eyes. my experiences as the man of this society compel me to develop a visual language which talks about my reactions at various situations.My experiences, sometimes as a passive onlooker and sometimes as an active participant, constitute the subject of my paintings.My journey from a small town in Bengal to the artistic atmosphere of Santiniketan and then to the busy and crowded life of Delhi, have had a deep impact on my life. All along the path of this journey I got the opportunity to experience life at different levels – the atmosphere changed with time and space…but emotions and experiences of a common man like me-the aspiration, struggles and achievements, the protest, grievances, damages all remain unchanged… The images of this life as shown by me are at times very symbolic. It may appear imaginative or random fantasy, but they hold their roots in the real world.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
