Figurative series consisting of portrait-sized, narrow artworks masterfully painted by the artist on self-prepared cardboard. This pictorial support is at the same time light and robust, the format is original and balanced, and is ideally suited to the creation of one (or two) figures from head to toe. In the first place, the work is about the painterly substance, where the drawing underlines and is subordinated to the painting. All of the figures in this series of paintings are pure fantasy figures that are in a particular setting or situation. The clothes or epochs can change, the painter himself invents the style and fashion. The artist is mainly concerned with the mental state, the character, the posture of the person depicted. It is exciting to hang several pictures spontaneously in a row (approx. 3 - 5 pieces) on the wall, so the depicted figures start to have a dialogue with each other.
