Description

This uplifting colourful painting was created in response to current world events. On a personal level I am separated from my only Son and my youngest Brother due to State Boarder Closures in Australia and that is distressing to me.

Covid19 has turned all our lives upside down. At least we can still imagine being wild and free and look forward to a world where that is actually possible again.

Part of my popular Mountain Series of paintings, ‘Be Wild and Free' is very detailed and has required quite a few weeks of work to complete. A fabulous piece to put you in a good mood and bring a smile to your face everyday. This 122cm x 92cm acrylic painting would be equally suitable for a home or office. It is matte varnished and the sides are painted a very dark blue.

Created on a stretched canvas, this painting arrives ready to hang as is (or frame as you prefer after purchase). Comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and is titled, signed and year dated on the back of the canvas.

A full-time Artist, I work from my Art Studio in the beautiful Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, Australia. Surrounded by natural beauty, it is no wonder I am inspired by natures colours, patterns, textures and shapes.

Does this art work need a frame?

In many cases, art works with a canvas stretched over a wooden frame can be displayed as is. Thin art works other than canvases are easier to frame. For any questions or concerns please chat us.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
