Description

This is a large statement artwork. It represents an abstract landscape painting in red, white and blue. It is painted with gestural brushstrokes in layers with small marks to create a balance in the composition. The composition is impressive and strong. Small marks are made in yellow, orange and green. It has many layers which give the painting lots of texture and a vivid look. It is finished with a protecting layer of varnish.
Inspiration was found in the beauty of a typical Dutch scene, a pollard willow near a waterstream. The Dutch landscape so famous for this scene.
