The term "first snowfall" is used to describe the first time snow falls on a mountain top after the summer has passed and the top of the mountain turns white. When I hear the phrase "first snowfall," I am reminded of the view of the first snowfall on Mt. This work was painted from an image of Mt. Teine when it first snowed. However, this work is not a mere reproduction of an image, but an attempt to capture both Mt. The theme of "Hatsukakan Yuki" was the embodiment of memory recall and oblivion. We accumulate memories, but we also forget them as time goes by. Even the scenery of the place where I spent 23 years of my life, the details of the scenery will gradually fade away, especially if I spend a long time in a different place. Therefore, I aimed to express Mt. Teine as an image and Mt. Teine in my memory on a single canvas by echoing the act of drawing and destroying a picture, and the recalling and forgetting of memories of Mt.
