Nakajima was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1984. While studying oil painting at university, he made his professional debut in his third year. All of Nakajima's works, over 500 paintings, have sold out ever since. Not only has he succeeded commercially, but he has won two special commendations for his delicate skills at Nitten, the most significant art exhibition organized in Japan. His professional activities have developed diverse from creating artworks, such as working with TV media as a commentator. With the concept "how to familiarize people with art," he aims to dissolve the dissociation between art and everyday life and to bring harmony between them.
