Hasaqui yamanobe studied aesthetics as a branch of philosophy, particularly the 18th century German thinker G.E. Lessing's Laocoön, and completed his graduate studies at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2009. Since then, he has continued to be interested in "Laocoön" and the genealogy of its influence that later led to formalism and site-specific art, and in the latter half of 2016, he began working on "Towards a Newest Laocoön. He is currently working across the fields of art theory and machine learning (AI), and is engaged in the study of modeling and image generation using Convolutional Neural Network.
2009 Completed Master of Fine Art, Tokyo University of the Arts
I have been interested in the book "Laocoon" by GE. Lessing, who was active in Germany in the 18th century, and started my creative activities under the slogan "Towards a Newest Laocoon" at the end of 2016. In 2019, I will start to work on machine learning.
Since 2019, he has been experimenting with machine learning technology, incorporating image generation using Convolutional Neural Network into his creative process.
