Concept

Jess Middleton is a freelance photographer and visual artist specialising in music, fashion, and various commercial projects. She quickly became sought after for her music event photography, and is now sourced for various work while completing personal art projects. Her passion for music has seen her shoot hundreds of events over the last few years, this remains one of her favourite passions. Her music photography has also seen her tour internationally. Jess has developed a distinctive style of close up documentary shooting and capturing moments. which lead to her first exhibition, ‘UP^3AM’, 2019. Jess has since exhibited under iconic Flinders st Station in Melbourne and has another show slated for March, 2021. The current show is a follow up to her previous exhibition and titled ‘Youth and Interaction’. Her background in film production has given her an eye for storytelling, which she translates into her photography work today.
