Concept

Creating abstract works, I feel free to express myself through color, texture, the nature of strokes. Not depicting reality, but creating your own world, full of flowers, imaginary magical gardens and full of love for my beautiful native land! And the first abstract series, created in 2010, was called “Being Free.” Which later became my credo.

“Large art”

The focal point of this series are three large paintings of my favorite tree, a hawthorn Pawl Scarlet. I depicted my perception of the tree with different moods: during rainy weather, bathing in the sun, and glowing in the first morning sun rays.

Biography

I am a full-time abstract artist from Ukraine. For now, I am based and work in the Netherlands.
Since graduating from the Academy of Arts and Design in Kyiv I have become fascinated with abstract art because it is the freedom to create a new world, full of colors of flowers and blossoms.

When I start a new painting, I always act intuitively, creating colour composition, spots and textures.
It is important for me to be completely free and not limited to anything in the first stage, I am convinced that art is a game, which brings pleasure and at the same time a journey that leads to a certain destination. And it is there that the more conscious construction of the composition begins, the application of paint in layers, creating the depth and richness of the surface.
