Yumi Shigeyama was born in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. She grew up in the mountainous area of the same city, rich in nature. From her childhood, she enjoyed drawing pictures, writing, and making things that she found beautiful, and already had a clear sense of taste for beauty from her youth. He felt a sense of pride and pride in making choices that were different from others. After attending and graduating from a local university, he worked for an import car dealer. While working for the company, he often visited art museums and enjoyed viewing artworks. After 23 years of working for the company, he has encountered a variety of people and values, and has gained a lot of life experience. I thought that now would be a good time to enter the world of art, which has never ceased to interest me. At the age of 47, three years have passed since he turned this idea into action and became a painter. He runs his painting business as a sole proprietor.
