Alen Karmokov was born and raised in the south of Russia, in the city of Nalchik.
Alen became interested in painting since childhood.
Characters from different myths and legends come to life in the artist’s paintings, he has created an amazing collection of incredible paintings in the style of fantasy, animalism, classics and realism. He creates his paintings at the pastel technique, works in oils, acrylics and pencils.
In his free time, Alen breeds horses, which are also a source of inspiration and are often present in the artist’s works.
Alen has already held several solo exhibitions, is a member of creative union of professional artists, also is a member of the national union of pastelists and the Eurasian art union. His works are presented at prestigious international competitions, where he takes first places.
