Concept

My artworks are multifaceted reflections of my soul, emotions, and feelings. They are intuitive and unconscious, but at the same time they, they are hard work because the ideas are gifts from the "flow," and I am responsible for painting them as they come to my mind. As an oil on canvas lover, I usually take them as a base, and sometimes, I add other mediums for special expression.

Biography

Dubai-based abstract artist Yana Pagul was born in southern Russia – Krasnodar city, where in the early childhood, she started her art journey and got her first art degree. With a deep base of classic painting and academic drawing knowledge, her art consciously runs away from the realistic forms.

From 2013, Yana lives and works in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where the key style of her art was born and developed.

"My style found me at the moment I realized that I have something serious with art."

The artwork reflects periods of her life and inner dilemmas at the moments of creation. Painting is the way to explore the inner soul and find the real self. True emotions and feelings very naturally and unconsciously get captured on canvas. Try to feel them.
