Durome is an experienced contemporary artist based in Valencia. Through his painting, sculpture, music, videos and photographs he configures his own dreamlike world with harmonic keys. The joyful and fresh emotion of his good work shines through. Technical and very precise elements of our contemporaneity. Thought and reflection, proposals that make his work a valuable element within the international and national panorama. An outstanding artist from the Valencian Community and with strong representation abroad, he opens our eyes to our closest environment, enhancing nature and the organic, discovering the beauty of the world we are part of.

DUROME considers his work as a game, he plays with elements, some of them technical and very precise. There is a lot of humour in it. His works are open to numerous interpretations. DUROME, (Valencia, Spain, 1976) has been awarded several prestigious grants, one of the most important, "las Comunidades de Creación Artística", awarded by Mexico.



His reflexive proposals have been exhibited in Argentina, India, China, France, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Germany, the United States and Spain. He actively participates in several research groups in European universities focusing on new artistic techniques. DUROME supports the creation of independent contemporary art spaces.
