Originally a self-taught portrait artist, Claire was awarded an MA in Art with distinction by the University of Westminster in 2013. Her work explores the construction of self-identities and influencers such as heritage, nurture, culture, mass media. Claire has exhibited in solo and group exhibition...
Originally a self-taught portrait artist, Claire was awarded an MA in Art with distinction by the University of Westminster in 2013. Her work explores the construction of self-identities and influencers such as heritage, nurture, culture, mass media. Claire has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in London (including P3 Ambika, Marlebone Rd), Watford (Space2, Watford Museum and pop-up exhibition spaces), Harrow and surrounding areas and her works are in private collections in Europe, USA and Australia. Claire received 16 private commissions last year, produced the winning artwork for the BoxPark exhibition in Shoreditch 2013/2014, was the guest artist at the Stockwell Open Exhibition and at the Lambeth Open Exhibition, was the curator at the East Street Arts pop-up gallery in Watford. She is currently involved in curation/education at the Heath Robinson Museum, exhibits regularly with Pinner Sketch Club and received the Kenneth Grimmett award for best painting in 2016
