Lena is a young abstract & expressionist artist, living and creating in Berlin.

"My passion on canvas" is her mantra which naturally extends into her work as a mixed media artist. She is mostly using acrylic and spray paint on canvas, sometimes adding wax color to her creations.


Lena is fascinated by conflicting colors, shapes & geometrics. She finds joy in merging patterns, layers, and different painting techniques in order to evoke various, often contrasting, sentiments for the viewer. The energy between intuition and construction is really exciting to her and is reflected in her unique paintings.


In her work, Lena often confronts her own feelings of struggle and the constant fight to keep a balance between the need for a stable environment in order to function & the chaos and creativity that is needed to feel joy as an artist. Her work is rooted in her deep emotional struggle she was confronted with in her teenage years living in a family facing severe mental health issues. Painting was and still is a big factor for her in overcoming phases of deep emotionless paralyzation and healing.
