Momoko Yoshida's work is based on visual images that come to mind when she usually listens to music.
She like to take some steps before create the art, in instead of painting with the inspiration directly.
First, the dynamic image that comes to mind while listening her favorite songs, is expressed by a stage set and a moving doll in front of it, and shooting as an animation.
The original image changes and is reconstructed by taking one frame of the video, painting it, and shooting again if needed.
By creating through these processes, she wants to express the elation what she felt objectively and present something universalized as a work.
The goal is to share the elation with the viewer and create an exhibition that stimulates people's excitement.
