Fascinated by things made of clay, heat, and texture, she creates her works through ceramics with a hazy sense of what the existence, function, and beauty of things are in the corner of her mind. The work uploaded under "representative works" was created from inspiration received from the wavelength of singing voices. While based on the shape of a vase, it is one of the works in the theme that I refused to arrange flowers, but later, when I arranged flowers, I found it interesting and realized the meaninglessness of my intention of creation.

“Blooming vase”

This is a ceramic object made of pieces turned on a potter's wheel. One day I heard a very beautiful abstract singing voice, and after it kept reverberating in my mind, something started to move. I wanted to find out what it was, and this is one of the pieces in the series I am working on. The gotori event is in a jar. First, I assimilate myself and the jar and try to imagine the cavity. That cavity quietly waits for outside sounds, and when it hears something, it swallows it, takes time to chew it, and slowly spits it out. But it just stands there so that no one notices that it is doing such a big thing!
