Eliana Carvidón is a contemporary painter who works in thematic series about the circumstances of the human being. She lives and works in Montevideo, Uruguay and she’s also a Librarian.

She studied at the National Institute of Fine Arts (University of the Republic, Uruguay) and later attended the Rodrigo Fló’s painting course and Carlos Musso’s painting course. She also studied sculpture in pottery.

She was selected for several solo shows, one of them at the National Library of Uruguay, and for multiple collective exhibitions presentially and virtually in her country as well as in other countries. Next year she will be exhibiting at Artifact Gallery in New York as well as Rossocinabro Gallery in Rome.

She has been awarded and was finalist in several international art contests.

Her artworks were reviewed by curators of several international art magazines and she was interviewed by TV programs, radio programs and art Galleries.

Her paintings are part of private collections in many countries.
