Born in 1984, he began drawing on his own after encountering the works of cartoonist and historian Shigeru Mizuki while living in Australia in his early 20s. 2009 saw him return to Tokyo, where he began his career as an artist in earnest. In the beginning, he mainly worked with pencil drawings, including pointillism, and has consistently depicted a monochrome world. Since then, he has awakened to a more expressive approach to painting, and while continuing to experiment on canvas with a sense of scale, he has explored new techniques using watercolors and acrylics, gradually expanding his repertoire to reach his current style.
