Concept

Totem " I am related to the one who belongs to the clan " A tribe bases its legitimacy on the reference to a totem which symbolizes and illustrates the members of the tribe. For me the totemvis represent faces which symbolically link us in a single clan, that of the Earth. I put my deep personality in these faces which are inspired by America or Oceania. My works are made in ceramics or resin, acrylic or wax patina.

Biography

Training When I was very young I was attracted to drawing and painting but when I had to work I turned to industrial drawing (C.A.P. De dessinateur industriel) while taking evening classes in different workshops (Centre Culturel de Toulouse, Ateliers d'Arts Portésiens).
For my work I specialized in the drawing in perspective. A formation of painter decorator (trompe oeil, fresco, false wood marble exc...) allowed me to perfect my technique. Aesthetic analysis "What is born on the canvas is not a simple image, but an event".
The goal of my artistic approach is to reach a harmonious unity between what one sees and what one guesses or feels. The image that I give to see, is only an artifact, an artifice of the imperceptible reality. The painting or the sculpture consequently has for function to produce false images which say the truth of what they claim to mean.
