I started making clay objects thirty years ago, during the war in Croatia in an old cellar.
I was surprised how modeling clay can be enchanting and healing and I felt that clay is my media of expression. From then until today I have gone through many phases in ceramics ranging from utility objects, and decorative objects to sculptures.
Today I work in a ceramic studio in the old part of my hometown in Karlovac, Croatia. I am holding a ceramics course where myself and the participants are making our own creations for friends and sale. We often hold exhibitions.
I make simple, clear and modern objects with different color and glaze combinations. The style is a reflection of my soul and the artworks create a robust energetic impression. I like to work intuitively, without much thinking involved.
Clay and ceramics are a passion of my life.
