The main theme of my work is vision and seeing. We input and output a great deal of information every day, and this information flows inside and outside of us. At the moment I look at an object, there is a sense that there is something between me and the object I am looking at that is difficult to describe in words. I feel that this something contains something important for our act of seeing. The series of acts of seeing are for "the person" including myself and others. The reason why I continue to create is because the elusive question, "What am I looking at? Through my work, I am exploring new sensations and perceptions that arise from the act of looking, and I continue to work to get as close as I can to what it means to see.
