Concept

The artist, a native of Hokkaido, was attracted to the world of sumi-e when he attended a sumi-e class in Tokyo. Recalling his childhood days as an insect catching boy in his hometown, he draws sumi-e ink paintings based on the concept of the thrilling and exciting fun of chasing insects and fish with a passion as a boy and a girl, and is working to realize a world full of happiness for a hopeful future. He wishes for a society that celebrates the happiness of others. The works he produces express the adventurous spirit of a young boy. The goal is to light the light of hope for life all over the world.
