Concept

In 1998, Yori Amara begans painting,when she was traveling alone from Tibet to Egypt.After came back to Japan in 2000, she started to live as a painter. The relationship between nature and humans is always her thema. Also destruction and regeneration,Life and death,circulating life,exit and entrance. Sence is very important.She wants to bring up people's sence of their unknown. That's why,She paints abstract,values texture. Now,she's living in mountain area and paintings everyday. Sometimes,she opens physical expression performance shows. Main material is acrylics,but she uses oil colors,japanese pigments,natural materials,also artifacts such as rusted metals.

Biography

Yori amarah was born in Tokyo,Japan.
Her mother was grafic designer,and her older sister became the teacher of arts.
She was Christian in childhood,but later,she started to interest in other religions and cultures.
She graduated Japan college of social work.She was Social worker.especially,in the field of mental disabilities.
1998,She quit her job and left to world tra\avel.And in that traveling,she started painting.
After she came back to Japan,She start to live as a painter.
