1955 Born in Tokyo (father: Yoshinosuke Fukui, Western-style painter; brother: Yoshihiro Fukui, book painter)

1980 Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, Department of Crafts
1982 Completed postgraduate studies at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music
Solo exhibitions held from this year to the present (Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, Tokyo Daimaru, etc.)

2007 Published a watercolor technique book "Enjoy Sketch Day with Transparent Watercolor" from Graphic, Inc.

2010 Established "Japan Watercolor Society (JWS)" / Currently 30 members

2011 The 1st-11th Japan Watercolor Society Exhibition held at Maruzen Marunouchi, Tokyo, Red Brick Warehouse, etc.

Currently watercolorist, illustrator, watercolor instructor, and representative of the Japan Watercolor Society
