Siroki is a Japanese artist who developed his abstract paintings from years of experience in calligraphy.
He studied calligraphy at the age of five and painting at a Japanese art college, where his work emphasizes space and solemnity.
Siroki uses original inks that he researched and created himself, and their textures represent the beating of life.
The heart beats and transmits sound, and I want the viewer to feel its vibration.
The shakuhin changes from day to day depending on the viewer, and appeals to the viewer.
Siroki says.
Through art as calligraphy, I want to give people the energy to live and a sense of security.
At the heart of her art is her identity as a Japanese who has always valued calligraphy. The minimalism of Japanese culture invites us out of the confines of material society and into the spiritual world of spiritual richness.
The moment of ink rubbing leads us away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and into the peace of mind.
Then, the moment the brush is swept down onto the washi paper, it changes from stillness to dynamic energy.
She has exhibited in Japan, Denmark, London, New York, Australia, Rome, and many other countries, and has a growing collector base.
Siroki says, "My artwork is like my girlfriends and my children.
The works are like my lover and my children, they are always with me. They are tightly bound together like invisible threads and will entertain me for the rest of my life. The works I share my heart with will spread all over the world and create a rich flow of time in their space.
