Concept

In my artistic experiments I work with watercolor and oil, sometimes adding elements of pastel. In my works, I convey not just meanings, but prisms - those very optical distortions that belong to my eye and perception. This is a kind of dialogue of reality with my unconscious, with the imaginary. Through subtle nuances of facial features, expressions of the eyes, and body movements, I weave narratives, directly touching the inner world of the portrait's subject. A person's body, face and emotions are powerful tools for describing a person inside and out. Human forms, gestures combined with looks and movements are an endless fruitful source of inspiration for me.

Biography

Oxana Luky was born in Ukraine. Now she lives and works in Moscow, Russia.
For the last three years, she have been a full-time artist. But before that, as for many others, art was her way of expressing herself. She started drawing when she was a child and remember her first finger drawings when she was four years old.
She finished Art school in Svetlovodsk .
Oxana's art education at Art Colledge in Kharkiv ,Ukraine has helped to develop a great foundation in the art.
