Looking back on the history of art, art has diversified since Marcel Duchamp, and with regard to painting in particular, I perceive that it has become difficult to construct new expressions, as it has been called "the death of painting. Under such circumstances, I have learned from adventurers of expression (Kazumi Nakamura, Hiroshi Senju, Luk Tuymans, Phlippe Cognee, Vija Celmins) who are boldly exploring their own paintings, and my main focus is to express "contemporary reality". He wants to reexamine paintings that have been condemned to death, and through the act of "painting" to confront himself and society living in the present in the Far East, the country of Japan.
