A blue dog that is barking, for the need of stopping to have the same vision of everyone, and everything.
A blue dog, need to be listened, need to have the space to create, to feel, to scream of difference.
That is what this dog wants, to make everyone feels that your blue dog inside is fantastic...

Alan Chac, a 34-year-old artist from Argentina, based in Aarhus Denmark, is a fusion of two cultures— My artistic journey started in Argentina, where I discovered my photographic style which could be called night photography of sharp neon lights of Buenos Aires.

My chosen medium is acrylic and oil on canvas, captivating colors that tell stories of life and connection. I’ve crafted a series of paintings named “Couples,” which search into the intricate dynamics between what’s there and who, blurring the lines between reality and abstraction. And creates a dynamic between the spectator and the painting, inviting them to think about who are the characters, and where are they from.
My inspiration is people that I met during my life, in Argentina, Denmark, and different places where I have been, but this inspiration comes from people who have character and personality and are not afraid of fitting into standards, I believe that being honest and who you are is fantastic.
I am trying to show the personality of these people who inspire me with colors, and I am honest with my color selection, trying to feel what color needs to be next to the other.

The characters I bring to life on canvas exist in a realm between the familiar and the extraordinary. Skin tones and clothing hues resist conventions, casting aside expectations and embracing uniqueness. This intentional departure from the ordinary is at the core of my mission to evoke emotions, provoke contemplation, and ignite dialogues.

With each canvas, I paint not only the stories of my subjects but also the story of my own path—a path that leads toward a future where art is not just a passion but a way of life.

Two artists who have significantly influenced my art style are Francis Bacon and Edward Hopper. From Bacon, I’ve drawn inspiration from his fearless exploration of the human form and his ability to convey intense emotions through distorted and unconventional representations. This resonates with my ‘Couples’ series, where I seek to capture the complexity of relationships by blending human and alternative elements. Like Bacon, I’m interested in pushing the boundaries of perception and challenging viewers to engage with the unexpected.
