This work represents the rapidly changing aspects of modern society. Thinking of our precious lovers, friends, and family, we always want to be close to them and feel their warmth. The android "CANDY" was born from this desire. It is the poster child for an age that seeks cyborgs as a substitute for human warmth. The wave of digital transformation is having a great impact on the way people live. This is a hymn to those who sense the waves and winds of this changing society, and who seek to continue to evolve further.

Amagatsuki: The "Ukushima" series, as the title suggests, is a deformation and story based on my feelings during my four years on Ukushima, the northernmost island of the Goto Archipelago. It is a hymn to the people who are trying to move forward while coexisting in awe of the magnificent nature.

The works are based on acrylic, ink, watercolor, and other media that can be fixed to a support using water as the medium, while also experimenting with collage and mixed media. I also experimented with different materials for the supports, from paper to wood, etc. We hope you enjoy the works.

If you are an avatar in the metaverse, it is an unreal dream space, so it is better to have an alter ego that can freely walk, fly, leap, and jump across the space. And it would be more interesting if the alter ego was not itself. The character "#Flying Hippo" was born from these thoughts.
