In these ever-changing times, we want to protect a living space where the heart is at ease and the value of one's own existence is respected. This interior artwork expresses such a desire. I encountered the historic beauty of kintsugi and expressed its charm on canvas as my starting point. Kintsugi is a restoration technique that uses lacquer and metal powder such as gold to repair cracks, chips, and fissures in ceramics. Kintsugi has been passed down from the previous generation, a spirit of cherishing things and the beauty of Japan. Kintsugi's way of doing things is in sync with the way people live their lives, and the art of spinning was born. We hope that Kintsugi will be an art form that gives energy to your heart and mind, and helps you to love and cherish yourself.
