Concept

As an spanish artist, the sun, being with friends, laughts, and happiness are my main inspiration. All these experiences allows me to create an special atmosphere of joy and light. The color and curved lines of the sea, the variegated forms of the clouds on the horizon and feeling the wind create the backgrounds and shapes of my pieces. They are intrinsic to me. Artworks has a great evocative power: in front of them I try the viewer to feel the sensation, the freshness and the freedom

Biography

My name is Noemí Artal. When I was a child my grandpa always said that nobody in our family could draw. For me Art is even in our surname.
I´ve been living in Madrid (Spain) for 20 years, but my roots are in Zaragoza, a small city near the Pirenees. Frecuently, I travel to Menorca, one of the smallest Balearic Island. This places or more precisely, the movement between this places are my main inspiration.
I´´´ m a chemical engineer, so my foundations are close to technical drawing. For this reason, my works are conceived as a plane of my emotions. However, as a counterpoint to the traditional black and white representation of the technical planes, my works are filled with color, light and texture.
My art has been exhibited in Madrid, London, Milan and, of course, Zaragoza, my home. And from now also in Asia.
