Layering and stratification is my vision of the harmony of all that exists. Universe and Time multi-layer, intertwine and penetrate, overlap and permeate each other. People are multilayered with their masculine and feminine principles, mind and soul, fears and aspirations. Nature consists of many layers with its strength and weakness, harmony and chaos, uplifting and frightening beauty. Layer-ing concealed in everything: layers are obvious and hidden, heavy and weightless with many nuanc-es and subtleties. Everything that surrounds us is much deeper and more complex than it seems. We ourselves are much more than we know about ourselves. This topic is inexhaustible and multi-dimensional - it is the source of my art’s life.
My research of layering and stratification moves continuously towards techniques’ combination, techniques which mix and separate materials, mediums and structures, densities and transparency of colors, techniques of coloring, toning, shedding and patinating planes, reliefs and structures. On the path, which I have chosen, I create various works of art, which vary in terms of heaviness and lightness, in coarseness and grace, in density and transparency. All of them create an experience of discovering the infinity of layers. My soul, together with my art, layers its inner world onto getting to know of outer worlds. I structure my works of art in series according to sensory experiences of the interaction between current explored aspect with inner sensation and statement to the outside world.
