Concept

Ludmila Gorbunova is an impressionist and abstract painter from Russia. Her original oil artworks are inspired by the discovered magic of the moment in many aspects of our day-to-day live. Her paintings are remarkable for the original art views and harmonic color combinations enriched with light and shades. "I wish not only to convey the impulse which guides me while painting, but also dream that my emotional boost evokes some response in my spectators souls and hearts. I will be utterly happy if my canvases motivate my audience to break new ground and unveil it's potential. That is why I'm so enchanted by palette knife oil painting, as there is no any other art technique which enables to potray a nerves and vibrancy of a moment so realistically and true-to-real"

Biography

Ludmila Gorbunova was born and lives in St-Petersburg, Russia.
Her art education started in teenage years, when she studied at Secondary School of Arts. In addition to learning fundamentals of composition and colour theory, mastering her artistic skills on watercolor and pastel painting, graphics and sculpture, she has developed her original artistic view on beauty of life.
Further on she focused on developing her career in corporate finance and management. But in 2015 she got back to paint.
Ludmila is a continuously evolving artist, mastering her artistic skills. She has emerged in oil painting, studying under renown local masters - Igor Sakharov, Dmitry Kustanovich, Aziz Sulaimanov, Anastasia Maslakova.
Ludmila is notable with wide interests and along with painting she goes in for photography and art psychology.
