concept: Emotional unavailability brief: in this monochrome painting I've used tones of blue to represent a state of mind in which people become insensitive and confuse their impassiveness with being calm and strong, which often results in the denial and negligence of everyone else's emotions and experiences, I've used scarlet color and gave the painting some abstract strokes signaling that there is still some hope as they do have some warmth left in them.
